ATTENTION PRACTICUM STUDENTS

AND STATION MEMBERS

You have been assigned to two (2) WVYC departments.

Contact your department heads now for work assignments.

Be sure to attend you first department meetings or contact your department head 

if you are not able to attend the first meeting.

If departments are not listed after your name you must contact station management immediately.

The next general PRACTICUM MEETING is

Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at 5:00PM in room C-303.

Performance evaluation forms will be distributed at the meeting.

Read the WVYC WEB pages to help you understand the operation of the station.

Please make corrections to name, e-mail, codes or quiz on the attendance sheet.

You must pass the online “Welcome to WVYC” quiz and turn it in by this meeting.  

All information for the quiz will be taken from the WVYC web pages.  http://www.wvyc.org

Read the WVYC rules and regulations, station handbook and the constitution carefully.  Explore the department syllabi and descriptions.

 
You may not switch departments without approval from station management.

All requests for department changes must be made before February 6, 2008.

All departments should be fully functional by Tuesday January 29, 2008.
