All interested York College students are invited to join "The largest organization on campus."

With 17 active departments and an eclectic, fun-loving communications group of students, there is certainly something enjoyable for you to do at WVYC.

New members can be on the air almost immediately or may select one of the many off-air support departments.

All York College students are encouraged to join us at our first staff meeting of the Fall 2010 semester, at 5pm on Wednesday, September 1st, in Campbell Hall room 303.

These pages are the text for the Radio Practicum class. All members are responsible for reading these pages, especially the student resource page and links. Congratulations to all WVYC students recognized for outstanding service last semester. Your dedication and hard work is appreciated.

The WVYC staff returned from the IBS National Convention with three prestigious national  awards.  The Sports Department received the "Best Sports Talk Program" award,  the Web/IT department received the "Best Website" award, and the station received the "Platinum Microphone Award", for attaining the highest level of broadcasting excellence among all college and university stations in the country.  Out of more than 1000 member stations and with only one award in each catagory, we are obviously very happy with this national recognition for our station operations.

WVYC would like to congratulate all of the winners of the Executive Board positions for the 2010-2011 school year. We look forward to working with them and hope for another successful year at WVYC!
